L & T December 2010
Lovely, cosy, warm, snug stay, even in ice and snow! Thank you so much for great weekend.
P & Y (Manchester) December 2010
2nd visit - first time Jan As good as before. Clean, fresh, welcoming. Two dinners in (why go anyway else) & one meal at The Lamb (recommend). Also went to Thomas A'Becket church for carols - begining of Advent - warmly welcomed. We are frequent weelenders but Sycamore is only the second place we have returned to in 12 years!
November 2010
We very much needed a break and Sycamore seemed ideal - we were not disappointed. The Barn was everything we hoped for ( a real home from home but without children) and I'm "in love" with the heated floor - perfect for yoga stretches and fluffy black cats (had he been with us). The local bird reserve was a real treat, particularly with all the migrating birds and lunch at the Crab & Lobster was perfect - they even accepted us in muddy boots and tracksuit bottoms. Dinner at the Lamb was fun. A pub with a great atmosphere, good beers and well presented tasty pub food. A 10/15 minute walk from the Barn. Sycamore is a real haven from the modern world and because Paul & Josie know exactly what's needed for a perfect break we/I will definitely be back for another 'soul break' Thank you.
W & M (Cuckfield) November 2010
Another lovely stay in the barn whilst visiting family & friends. The visit to Arundel Castle was brilliant. Look forward to staying again.

A few days away from busy and stressful jobs. Just the place to relax and unwind. Lovely cottage and plenty to do in the area.
P & A July 2010
Lovely weekend break with exceptionally good weather. First visit to Pagham for 2 years. As a child back in the early sixties used to camp at Church Farm - not many caravans then! Very nice accomodation here, hopefully return for another break. Thanks for the extra's, appreciated.
B & E July 2010
We came down for the 'Festival of Speed' at Goodwood, and would recommend that to everyone, a great show! We have absolutely loved staying at the Barn. It has been brilliant to escape from our daily routine. The cookies were lovely - didn't last 2 minutes!!! (same goes for the wine :) ) The weather has been gorgeous, we have eaten and drank out on the pation in the sunshine. We will recommend Sycamore Barn to everyone! Thank you very much Paul & Josie for making this such a peaceful place to stay. Lots of love.
K & J July 2010
Want to relax - come to Sycamore Barn. Spot on for everything. You don't even have to use the car to go anywhere, jump on a bus and enjoy the views en-route, however avoid Brighton, yuk!!! Chichester beautiful, great theatre. West Wittering, wow. Very fussy about where I swim, perfect, swam for an hour. Brilliant acomodation, well done.
D & D (Swindon) June 2010
We've had a lovely time here - your 'barn' is so comfortable + perfect. We enjoyed consuming the eggs, wine and cokkies, also tea + coffee were useful - thank you. We tried to walk to the harbour most evenings - saw lots of birds on the way many fledglings. Perfect centre for the area, so easy to get out + about.
C & M (Maidstone) June 2010
Thank you for the wine egss & cookies a very nice touch. We have enjoyed our stay in Sycamore Barn which is very well equipped clean & comfortable. The weather wasn't very good until the last two days which have been beautiful. We found some very enjoyable walks on the South Downs Way from Cocking car park which were very scenic. The patio area is ideal to come back to and relax after a long walk.

Had a great week-end! Friday we just enjoyed the beautiful barn and patio are having been blessed with good weather. Saturday we walked the harbour to Sidlesham, popped into Chichester for some shopping coffee at the Canal Basin and a drink at the Marina, and Lamb Inn at Pagham. A great area to explore Spent the evening relaxing in the Barn. Thought the little extra's were a lovely touch. Thank you.
T & A May 2010
Had a good rest lovely & peaceful. Love the Barn. Enjoyed our break good base for attractions. We love the big fluffy towels & those gorgeous biscuits. On a minus I would change the white rugs they spoil a perfect place. The cooker was hard to use. A clothes airer was useful. Thank you.
G & J May 2010
Great accommadation. Lovely welcome of wine, eggs and cookies. We have
enjoyed staying here - finding where Chris' ancestors were born, died
and married (not in that order) and also finding the St Stevens in North
Mundham where his ancestor lived before being sent to Tasmania as a
convict for breaking machinery in the Springer revolution. Wish we had
more time to explore - maybe next time. Thank you.
J&C (Sydney Australia) April 2010
We both enjoyed staying & relaxing here. Lovely to walk at the
harbour and enjoy the fresh air. Had a good lunch at The Ship in
Itchenor. Thanks.
D&J April 2010
We both needed a break from the madness at home and this was the perfect
place, beautifully equipped and so relaxing. We are already talking
about another break here in the summer.
K&M March 2010
Thoroughly enjoyed our short break at Sycamore Barn, we had some lovely
walks, the harbour area is beautiful, we saw some barn owls which was
thrilling. A lovely place to stay we shall visit again, everything we
needed in the Barn.
J&M February 2010
The perfect getaway for a Valentines weekend. Little extra touches made
all the difference and surrounding area great for cycling &
relaxing. Can't wait to come back & explore more!
N&J February 2010
Enjoyed the weekend idylic accommodation, eggs: a long walk to Selsey
round the harbour - & lock - & 2 good meals at the Inglenook.
L&S February 2010
Lovely accommodation - clean & fresh. Boiler noisy to start with but
settled down. Can't fault anything else. Enjoyed sunshine &
chilling out. Didn't eat out because it was much better to stay in!!
M&G January 2010
A late decision to visit my brother, found this accommodation on the
internet. What a brilliant decision to stop here rather than a hotel,
so much nicer. Clean , fresh and lovely views. Nigel particularly
enjoyed the chocolate brownies! I didn't have a chance to my one. We
will definitely be back and stay longer next time.
S&N January 2010
We're back! The field may be muddy but still a good neighbour. Had
great Xmas eve dinner at Crab
& Lobster the midnight mass at the Thomas 'A' Beckett Church. Fab
walks on reserve + witnessed aerial goodies like geese nightly flights
plus lapwings/plovers etc. Spent Boxing Day on Watercress Line (WW11
reenactment) in mid hants- great! West Witterings is
great for walking (can understand why East Wittering isn't mentioned) + Lamb Inn does superb food!
Chichester is shoppers paradise - never seen so many pretty buildings in
a shopping city. "Beyond the fringe" is good bargain vintage shop (got
Jaeger caot for £30 + superb condition). Royal Oak in E. Lavant
wonderful. Been a great way to recuperate - nature next door and all
around. Spectacular views at sunset - What a way to end 2009! Love this
place!
