Very comfortable (especially the sofa) and well eqipped. The perfect place for relaxing after a long walk. Also appreciated the privacy. Lots to do nearby and in Chichester (e.g. Fishbourne palace, Pallant House Gallery, Chichester Cathedral). Hope to be back.

T & M December 2011

It may have been raining and windy outside this week, but inside was very comfortable, cosy and warm. Sycamore Barn is an absolute gem, we really enjoyed our stay. Chichester is a wonderful place to visit, plenty of shopping, lovely buildings and eating places to suit every mood and pocket!! Enjoyed our evening walk to visit family as "Mr Fox" joines us on frequent occasions. Will be back

S & T (Hartlepool) December 2011

Our 2nd visit & as enjoyable as ever. It was lovely to relax and have a rest. The lovely weather was a real bonus too. Would highly recommend Russells Garden Centre for delicious coffe & food (on maind road to West Wittering) - very stylish. Lobster pot cafe at Felpham nice place to stop & overlook the sea if walking from Bognor Regis. We've had a great time & I'm sure we'll be back again - thank you.

S & M (Herts) November 2011

Had a great weelkend, we really enjoyed it, wished it could have been longer. We had a long walk through the harbour, around to the right, finished up at village shops. It took about two hours. Hopefully we will be back one da. Thank you very much, lovely Barn, home from home.

C & B November 2011

Comfortable, clean & tastefully decorated. Great base for visiting family in the area. Preferable to a hotel - we would come again.

K & M October 2011

Had a very nice break. Lovely place to stay. Thank you for all the 'little extras', especially those biscuits! Definitely come again.

B & L October 2011

This is our fifth visit to this area. We love Chichester, the Witterings, Bosham, the Marina & much much more. Sycamore Barn has been thoughtfully and tastefully converted and is a great base to explore from. A very comfortable and relaxing place to stay. Can recomend the 'Crown & Anchor' at Dell Quay, large portions beware! We are looking forward to coming back again soon.

B October 2011

A lovely comfortable place to stay - catching up with old friends & places - as we used to live in Pagham - many years ago! Thank you for the lovely cookies, eggs etc. - Enjoyed our stay. Thanks.

T & J (Ivybridge Devon) October 2011

Alovely relaxing base to stay - visiting  friends nearby for a birthday celebration. This was a peaceful & comfortable haven - thank you!

S & N October 2011

Our first visit to W. Sussex and Sycamore Barn was the ideal place to stay. Enjoyed visits to Chichester Cathedral and Uppark. Lovely cream tea at Bosham Quay. Excellent walks - Dell Quay to Chichester Marina. West Wittering and East Head. Circular walk round West Itchenor with lunch at the Ship. Bird watching at Pagham Harbour at sunset. It has been a great week.

B & V October 2011

Thank you for a lovely time, Barn is lovely a 'mini' home from home, will certainly come again. Wouldn't recommend the 'Small Fry' only to the bin (where ours went. Once again thanks fro everything.

J & T September 2011

Had a great time in a great place. By far a great deal better than any hotel we have stayed in. We both think The Lamb Pub had excellent food and what a lovely relaxing time we had. We both thank Paul and Josie. Cheers. ps The Bear is a good friendly pub.

K & R September 2011

Lovely accomodation, comfortable and well equipped. Had mixed weather but had lots of interesting places to visit (Petworth & Arundel a must) & great walks locally.

L & R (Derbyshire) September 2011

Came down from Cambridgeshire to visit the Pallant House Gallery in Chichester for the Kahlo/Rivere Exhipition and decided to make a long weekend of it. Beautiful conversion, thoughtful owners. Have already recommended Sycamore Barn to friends. Thank you!

A & M (Cambs) September 2011

Lovely week, weather has been better than expected. Used the Spice Paradise which has replaced the Pagham Tandori but not as impressed with The Small Fry fish and chips.

M & S (Cardiff) September 2011

Just lovely - time to do nothing much for a change - made use of the very good bus service too. See you again soon.

K & R (Essex) August 2011

Lovely clean accommodation -  definitely reccommend to friends! For a lovely meal at a friendly pub, try The Fox at Patching. Also Amberly Museum is well worth a visit.

J & V (Bromley) August 2011

Super accommodation & far superior to any hotel! Recommendations: Small Fry is better for fish and chips than Pagham Beach Cafe; Lobster Pot in Felpham (nr Beachcroft Hotel) is a super beach cafe (food, cakes and view!) Fingers crossed I'll be back again soon

F August 2011

Had a relaxing break, thanks for all the goodies and info about area. Really enjoyed the walks especially around the harbour watching the wildlife. Highly recommend the Walnut Tree for food but not the Lion. Accomodation far superior to some hotels we've stayed in, would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing break with lots to do.

P & G (Northampton) July2011

Just wjat we needed for a lovely relaxing break.

P & J July 2011

It's nice to find a place that exceeds expectations - thank you. Why not leave the car & use the convenient bus service - A trip to IOW easily done. Shame the weather failed to meet the same high standard.

B & A (Bristol) July 2011

We have had a wonderful time relaxing and exploring. Sycamore Barn. is a fantastic place to stay - 1st class. Thank you for the welcome pack all very tasty. We enjoyed every minute from watching the sunset on the patio, the harbour, nature reserve, beach, day trip to Isle of Wight and day at historical dockyard. The local pubs were welcoming and food tasty. You sure do live in a wonderful peaceful village. We will have to plan a return visit soon.

D & G (Coxheath, Maidstone) July 2011

What a beautiful place. So relaxing. It was lovely to really unwind. Thank you so much for the welcome pack - it was a lovely thought + very much appreciated. The walk from here to Sidlesham was very pretty. Chichester, Arundel and Bosham Lovely. We'll explore more next time. Looking forward to returning in November.

S & M (Herts) June 2011

Second time at Sycamore Barn. Facilities are first class. We thought that the best food was at the Walnut Tree. Fishbourne Roman Palace is well worth a visit. Weather was blowy and showery so did not venture on as many walks as might have. Arundel is pretty and friendly place.

K & J June 2011

Have had a wonderful time in peaceful seclusion enjoying the delights of Pagham and it's area.

June 2011

Lovely place to stay and we were very grateful fo the little extras which were just right. Fishbourne Roman Palace was very interesting and we enjoyed afternoons out at  Stansted House and Parham House - the latter having lovely gardens. We found guided tours of Chichester and its Cathedral well worth taking for the extra information. Lovely walks across Pagham Harbour to Sidlesham, but the 'Crab & Lobster' is strictly for fine dining only and found 'The Anchor' at Sidlesham more suitable for a light lunch. Locally we agree with the comments above about the restaraunt prices at 'The Lamb' and found the "Baa" menu uninspiring. 'The Bear' was better and has a good offer (2 for £20) Mon - Thurs. Many thanks.

K & S (Sheffield) June 2011

Woonderful accommodation, lovely location! Would definately conside coming back! It's a perfect little love nest!! Thanks

J & P June 2011

Just spent a lovely relaxing long weekend here. Thought the barn was brilliant and the surrounding area beautiful. Even though used to london prices we thought The Lamb and The Inglenook were overpriced, but food was OK. Had lovely take away fish & chips from Small Fry. Love to come again.

S & D May 2011

A lovely place. The privacy was particularly welcome. We enjoyed a day out at Upparks and an afternoon in Chichester (the cathedral cafe is a nice spot for lunch on a sunny day). Bosham was also lovely and a good spot for a short stroll.

K & N (High Wycombe) May 2011

Had a brilliant time. The barn is first class. Had a relaxing few days away. Went to Arundel. Lovely walks there. Thanks for the wine and cookies Josie. Very moorish. We would love to come here again one day for a few days. The eggs were lovely thanks. Thanks again.

M & D (Basingstoke) May 2011

We've really enjoyed our stay. Easy, comfortable 'cottage' - lovely, sensitive conversion. Enjoyed Chichester and saw peregrines from Cathedral cafe. Excellent lunch at Sidlesham (Crab & Lobster)-  walked there across marsh/harbour side. Impressed by Petworth and Petworth House and really enjoyed Uppark visit. Good walk in Kingley vale. Arundel still to do! Thank you also for lovely egss, wine and great biscuits.

B & M May 2011

Our 3rd stay and as ever we enjoyed evry minute -  watched the Royal Wedding in style. Sat on the beach . Visited Manor Nurseries. Enjoyed another good meal at the Lamb but mostly enjoyed the luxury of the barn. Many thanks and hope to see you soon.

M & G (Crawley Down) April/May 2011

My wife and I had the most wonderful time here in the barn at Pagham the scenery and views are breathtaking. We cannot wait to return ASAP & where did you get those chocolate biscuits?!!! They are amazingly dagerous. My wife would return for those alone! Lovely place. Lovely people. See you again soon.

M & J April 2011

Sycamore Barn made a great base for visiting family and friends in the Bognor area. Clean, quiet and comfortable with all the amenities we needed. Definitely a home away from home. We highly recomend the food at the Inglenook - especially the Friday evening/ Sunday lunch carvery. I f we have another opportunity to come to UK we will definitely stay again.

M & V (Texas USA) March 2011

Thank you for another lovely stay! Fresh eggs, fresh flowers, your finishing touches turn a weekend visiting relatives into a great holiday break. Looking forward to coming back.

P & Y (Manchester) March 2011

Had a relaxing time in great accomodation. Beats a hotel stay everytime. Hope to be back soon!

GL (Surrey) March 2011

We have just spent 5 weeks in this beautiful barn conversion. Thank you Paul +Josie for putting so much thought and detail to everything in Sycamore. A real home from home. This has been the most relaxing holiday Harry + I have had in a very long time. Better than holidays we have had in hotels abroard. I must also mention the shower is the best ever so efficient. Sycamore Barn is so near all places of interest and set in a lovely village where the local shops and people are so friendly. Thoroughly recommend. The Lamb Inn the food is superb. Enjoyedquite a few meals there. Once again Paul & Josie thank you so much for everything including the goodies on our arrival. All being well we shall return this time next year for another relaxing long stay. Love to you both.

A & H (Warsash Hants) January/ February 2011

We'll be leaving early in the morning for Heathrow. We've had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed staying at the barn. We'll definitely look into staying again. (Let us know if you ever are interested in selling.)
